We are two friends who realised that there are not enough opportunities to discuss and share experiences about death. Originally we were hoping to open a 'Death Cafe' but the pandemic meant that this was impossible so we thought an on-line resource might be a helpful alternative.

Maxine Green has been a youth work manager with a deep interest in spirituality. She trained as a social anthropologist and her previous roles include National Youth Adviser for the Church of England and the Principal of YMCA George Williams College. She lives with her family on a smallholding in Suffolk.

Charles Elliott, is an Anglican priest. Formerly Dean of Trinity Hall, Cambridge and, prior to that. Professor of Economic Development at the then University of Wales, he has lived and worked in Africa and elsewhere. He has now retired to a small village on the River Deben.
